Volunteers are
needed nationwide to teach English and Computers (if the school
has computers available). Based on the volunteer’s skills and
education, it is also possible to volunteer as teachers’ aid for
subjects like Math, World History, Environment, Grammar,
Science, etc.
This project offers
the opportunity so that the volunteers assist the students of
Elementary Schools located at rural areas, where their limited
income students do not have access to English and/or Computer
teachers. School year goes from the first week of September to
the end of June for the Highlands and Amazon. And from the
second week of April to the middle of January for the Coast and
Galapagos.

In Quito (in the old city) there is a project in benefit of
Children living solely in the streets and children from very
poor families who work in the streets. The project, originally
founded by the former institution "Primeras Damas de la Nación",

place where the children (and their mothers) can eat breakfast,
lunch, do homework, watch TV, play table-soccer and have
computer lessons. Volunteers support children with their
homework for the afternoon classes, help serving the lunch for
about 150 children and women, that attend daily the house, and
take part in recreational activities.
Volunteering is
from Monday to Friday, weekends off.
